Administration platform for junior students

When junior students apply for a place at university, various pitfalls lurk. Both on the part of the applicant and on the part of the university.

Applicants

• obtain all documents (e.g. certificates, internship certificates, personal data or possibly residence permits) and send them to the administration of the university by a certain deadline
• hand over original documents
• all documents may not be ready immediately
• would like to introduce herself/himself as a candidate for a place at the university

University administration

• Create files for the applicant (nowadays this is usually done electronically).
• Clerks collect data in a computer system.
  • Input errors can occur
• Clerks sift through the submitted documents, check them for completeness, plausibility and validity.
• If documents are still missing, the clerk has to contact the applicant, the applicants have to answer: Business transactions that are time-consuming, cost-intensive and labor-intensive.

Application Assist makes all of these and other processes easy. Application Assist is a web application as an interface between applicants and university administration. In addition, Application Assist manages the creation of an applicant file and supports applicants and administration through:

• Monitoring of the data protection guidelines, if necessary information about the achievement of the maximum amount of documents
• Comfortable operation through ergonomic, self-explanatory input masks with the option of selecting the user language

  • If the status changes, the applicant receives an e-mail via e.g.
    • the successful registration in the system
    • the start of the application process (degree programs / preparatory colleges / language courses)
    • "Application in process"
    • the completeness of the documents submitted
    • timely information about the lack of documents before the deadline
  • Applicants can quickly submit / subsequently submit documents in digital form (upload)
